Yalda received her PhD in statistical machine learning from Amirkabir University of Technology.
Diana is a cognitive neuroscientist interested in how the brain extracts meaning from complex visual inputs. How do we process information about people and their actions and interactions? What are the computations that extract generalizable information from visual features? To answer these questions, Diana combines computational tools from machine learning with neuroimaging methods (MEG and EEG).
Elham is a postdoctoral fellow at Vector Institute for AI. She received her PhD in Electrical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2019. She was a postdoctoral fellow at McMaster University 2020-2022 where she worked on using and developing machine learning and AI techniques in investigating the cognitive functioning in brain injured populations with particular emphasis on coma, and other disorders of consciousness (DOC), locked-in syndrome and concussion.
