Yalda Mohsenzadeh

Principal Investigator

Yalda is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science and a core member of the Brain and Mind Institute at Western University. She is also a faculty affiliate with Vector Institute for Artificial Intelligence.  Previously, she was a postdoctoral associate in the Computer Science and A.I. Lab (CSAIL) and McGovern Institute for Brain Research at MIT. Before she was a postdoctoral fellow in the Center for Vision Research at York University.  Yalda received her PhD in statistical machine learning from Amirkabir University of Technology.  



Nicky Bayat

Graduate Student

Nicky completed her BSc in Computer Engineering at University of Tehran, Iran. Nicky is working on deep learning and computer vision methods for low resolution face recognition.


Haider Al-Tahan

Graduate Student

Haider completed his BSc in Computer Science and Psychology at York University, Toronto, Canada. His research interest spans computational neuroscience of multi-modal perception.


Andrew Keyes

Graduate Student

Andrew will start his masters in CS at Western University in Fall 2020. He is interested in deep learning, machine learning and data analysis techniques applied to cognitive neuroscience.


Harini Sanjay Pathak

Graduate Student

Harini completed her BSc in Information Technology. She is currently a CS Masters student at Western University. She is interested in Data Mining methods and machine learning techniques for time series prediction. 


John Taylor Jewell

Research Assistant

John is currently a fourth-year Computer Science student with a minor in Economics at Western University. He is interested in machine learning and data analysis techniques applied to brain time series data.
